Cromer and District Garden Society

Cromer and District Garden Society was established in 1956.
Affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society and the Norfolk and Norwich Horticultural Society.

Our society aims to encourage an interest in gardening with talks, shows, garden visits and contact with similar societies.
Our meetings take place on the second Wednesday of the month, 7.30 – 9pm, with guest speakers. Our September meeting is our member’s Autumn Show and December a social event.

Each year we get together with Sheringham and Wroxham/Hoveton societies, for a gardening quiz, taking it in turns to host the event. It is a popular social event.

We have a plant sale in May selling plants supplied by our members.

We organise an annual competition for local schools to encourage an interest in gardening for children, which is well supported.
