Loddon and District Horticultural Society was formed in 1972, but was active sometime before the second world war. We are affiliated to both the Norfolk and Norwich Horticultural Society and the Royal Horticultural Society.

We hold monthly meetings and January, February, March, May and August we have speakers at our meetings which vary each month. In April, July and November we have our mini-shows and the points are added up from these shows to win the Malt Cup. We have a garden visit in June, our Annual Show in September, a bring and buy and Annual General Meeting in October and round the year off with a Christmas meal in December. We also hold an annual plant sale and coffee morning in May, so our members are kept busy.

We also enter into the shows that are held by the Norfolk and Norwich Horticultural Society. We also get involves sometimes in local events.
